Kate Cocker has been painting and drawing since she could hold a pencil but only recently abandoned her successful career as a radio producer to focus on her first love, art. Since reaching the final of Manchester Art Battle in July 2016, Kate has built her portfolio and her following.

Inspired by Manchester and the remote Mani area of Greece (which she visits with her husband and children as often as she can), Kate is extravagant in her use of colour and particularly enjoys using acrylic paint with a palette knife. She like to explore themes of love and chaos in her work.
